Terms and Conditions

Park’N’Shine LLC seeks to provide the best detailing service experience. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for considering our services and point out some of the terms and conditions of our business criteria. We hope you will find these policies listed below helpful and informative in explaining the extent of our auto detailing services.

We are a Mobile Detailing Service.

Appointment Deposit and Cancellation Policy

Park N Shine LLC requires all clients to make a 20% deposit in order to secure their appointments. This is a non refundable deposit, and will be applied to the final cost of the detailing service

Please note that once an appointment is booked  with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for the client. Unfortunately, over the last few weeks, we have seen a major increase in last minute no-shows and cancellations.

Appointment deposits will be 20%. This is a non-refundable deposit. If the appointment is canceled/rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, a new deposit must be made on the new appointment.

We reserve the right to charge up to 1/2 of the scheduled service when arrangements have not been made with a property strata manager and the detail cannot be completed  because we are asked to leave the premises.

We reserve the right to alter or amend a booking time/date in order to group appointment locations closer to each other without penalty and will communicate such changes to the client.

We reserve the right to alter a booking or move a booking in accordance to weather conditions and/or equipment failure without penalty to the company.

Work area

We provide mobile service to Central New Mexico – Albuquerque and surrounding areas, East Mountains, and Santa Fe.  See Travel fees.

We will not work in parking garages or underground parking structures due to liability reasons and height restrictions

We require an ample amount of space to perform our service, permission from the owner, where applicable, to be on-premises, and a safe location as well as safe conditions to service the vehicle. We will not detail on dirt.

For the safety of our clientele, please keep a safe distance, at least 10-15 feet away from our work area to avoid any trip or slip hazards. If our attention is needed please do so from a distance. We try to be aware of our surroundings.

Please relocate additional vehicles reserved for client use prior to service to facilitate an uninterrupted detailing process

Please remove all personal belongings, money, and other significant items from vehicles prior to selected detailing service. This will speed up the service.

If compartments are not cleared, we may not be able to clean them thoroughly due to the client’s private personal belongings.

A minimum of 10% surcharge may be applied to all jobs that involve or require moving or relocating belongings.

Detailing Methodology

For safety reasons we will not remove or replace car seats. We ask that our clients remove car seats before we arrive. Should the car seat be left in the vehicle we will do our best to clean around it but cannot guarantee your total satisfaction.

We reserve the right to charge each vehicle according to its condition, the type of vehicle, and the client location. *See travel fees

We reserve the right to amend any price during the detailing should it differ from the original price.

A minimum of 10% surcharge may be applied to all jobs that involve excessive pet hair.

Pet hair and sand are two of the toughest items to remove from a vehicle with normal vacuuming. The removal of either element is not guaranteed with any of our service offerings. However, on most occasions, we are successful at removing visual traces of both elements.

We cannot guarantee complete removal of stains and/or odors from vehicles. We aim to please so we will try our best. Please be aware that some upholstery and carpets are beyond cleaning and may not completely clean up as expected. Some stains are permanent. We will consult with you about what can and cannot be done in regard to your vehicle’s interior.

If odors cannot be reduced by cleaning alone, they may require our Odor Doc Service, at the client’s discretion.

We are not responsible for damage due to heavily soiled, stained or damaged interior components, such as dash buttons and steering column buttons and knobs. Such areas may be so caked with dirt, grime, and makeup that cleaning may result in these buttons and knobs losing their markings.

To prevent failure of the headliner glue, we clean headliners gently, which may result in incomplete stain removal.

We do not clean seat belts, as the process needed to clean them thoroughly can damage the fibers. If a seatbelts is dirty enough to need cleaning, it is nearing the end of its life cycle and should be replaced as a safety measure.

We do not use harsh cleaning products on any interior or exterior areas. All of our products are designed to be safe and do not chemically damage carpets, leather, vinyl, plastic, painted, clear coated, or chrome surfaces.

We are not responsible for any mechanical or electrical problems when cleaning engine bays and sunroof/moonroofs due to areas simply getting wet from the cleaning process.  Please ensure the vehicle is in good mechanical/electrical working order, because there is no way of knowing of these problems before we begin.

We are not responsible for excessive baked-on brake dust that cannot be completely removed either on the surface or deep within the wheel. Some wheels are beyond cleaning and may need to be repaired or replaced.

Bird droppings, bug splatter, sap, and tar will chemically etch into a vehicle’s paintwork if left for a period of time. This will result in a deep chemical mark on the paintwork that may need additional work to safely remove. In some cases, the mark cannot be removed completely without compromising the clearcoat.

Exterior black or gray plastic, textured or smooth trim pieces may be beyond restoring and will have to be replaced. We try our best to restore the plastic to its original color.

We do not dress or coat the plastic running boards on trucks and suvs since it may cause a slip hazard. We will dress plastic running boards on request but will not be held liable for slips.

Any wax, sealant, or coating not properly cared for will not last its intended durability length. We recommend hand washing for the best durability of paint protection.
